How this product should be used:
The suggested dose of Yucca Intensive is 1 drop given by mouth for each 10 lbs of body weight (can be doubled). Yucca Intensive is bitter and should be mixed well with canned food, cottage cheese, yogurt, tuna water, or apple juice. Yucca Intensive can be dropped onto a cookie or piece of bread with peanut butter, and it can be put inside a piece of cheese. Yucca Intensive may also be used topically for wound and hot spot treatment. Add 1 dropperful (30 to 40 drops) of Yucca Intensive to 4 ounces of liquid, such as water or medicinal hydrogen peroxide. Yucca can also be added to dips and shampoos. When Yucca Intensive is used topically, it is so bitter that pets are not likely to lick their wounds.

What special precautions are there:
This product is for animal use only. If Yucca Intensive is given by mouth undiluted, it is so bitter that the flow of saliva will increase and the saliva will foam at the corners of the mouth. Yucca will not burn or damage skin if used undiluted, however, it can stain the hair coat or carpeting and using Yucca Intensive undiluted is a waste of product.
