What is LymDyp? LymDyp is a lime scented dip used to treat Sarcoptic and Demodectic mange as well as ringworm. LymDyp requires a prescription from your veterinarian. Cautions: LymDyp must be diluted with water before use. LymDyp may cause skin irritation. If irritation develops, rinse thoroughly with water for 15 minutes and contact your veterinarian. LymDyp has a sulfur smell. LymDyp is available in a 16 oz bottle and must be diluted with water before use. What is LymDyp: LymDyp is a scented sulfur concentrate with antimicrobial and antiparasitic activity. LymDyp is used in the topical treatment of skin infections including sarcoptic and demodectic mange. LymDyp may be used for purposes other than those listed in this medication guide. What should I discuss with my veterinarian before applying LymDyp on my pet: Tell your veterinarian if your pet has had an allergic reaction to this medication or any medication containing sulfur. How should this medication be used: Bathe and rinse the animal prior to application. LymDyp must be diluted prior to use. Dilute 4 oz of the concentrate into one gallon of water and mix well. Apply diluted solution liberally to the hair coat at 5 to 7 day intervals. Allow LymDyp to dry on the animal. Do not rinse. Store LymDyp at room temperature. Keep out of the reach of children. What happens if I overdose the pet: Overdose is unlikely. However, if an overdose is suspected contact your veterinarian or veterinary emergency room. If the medication is swallowed, rinse mouth and offer large quantities of milk, egg whites or water. Do not induce vomiting. What should I avoid while using LymDyp: Use LymDyp in a well ventilated area. LymDyp may stain light colored dogs and cats as well as porous (cement) surfaces. LymDyp will change the color of jewelry. Avoid contact with eyes, nose, and mouth. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water. What are the possible side effects of LymDyp: LymDyp may cause skin irritation. If irritation develops, rinse thoroughly with water for 15 minutes and contact your veterinarian.
